About Us

Hello and welcome! In 1976 Dennis, a former machine shop operator and Ria, a former seamstress, embarked on the road of owning their own business. They called it 86th St. Card & Gift Stop. It was primarily card shop with the usual other product that comes with it. Selling on the internet was not even a thought back then. In 1988 they moved across the street to the current location, next door to the famous pizzeria, Lenny’s. This is the location where John Travolta appears in the beginning of the movie, "Saturday Night Fever" filmed in the mid-seventies. They opened it as a Hallmark Gold Crown Shop but it has now evolved to primarily as an online presence for gifts.

Be sure to check in often as items will be added almost daily!

From day one, Dennis instilled in the shop a friendliness, familiarity, and integrity with which on a daily basis we have interacted with customers. Our staff extends that courtesy with a warm hello and a smile to greet everyone that visits us. We take pride when our customers are satisfied.

That “spirit” is carried on now to our online store. So feel free to browse our site and at any time you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

Angelos
